Something has gotten screwed up somewhere. I can't create cross-references to bookmarks, either from References tab or Insert tab. When I open the Cross-reference dialog, everything looks good, bookmarks are all listed, but when I click Insert, nothing happens.
The last document I worked on I created a cross-reference and it work okay, then I started playing around with the Hyperlink style and I think I messed something up. Is there a way to undo everything I did to the Hyperlink style without nuking the Normal.dotm template? If not, and I do torch the Normal template, what will become of all the documents I created with it? Will they still contain all the errors they previously had? I need advice on how to get the cross-references working again with the least amount of damage. Thanks. |

Just an update. I created an internal hyperlink and that worked perfectly.
I may be mistaken about successfully creating a cross-reference before. I think it was probably a hyperlink and I just forgot. I still don't know why cross-references wouldn't be working but hyperlinks will do the trick so nothing critical. |
