Hi All,
I have a problem with new functionality of word 2013. I need to change template of one document. Template is given and I have to use it. Standard procedure in Word 2010 was selecting chapter and by copy / paste add to new template (word copy the text only and Caption stay same as template have. In 2013 Word try to copy all. Result is broken fields in Captions and dual captions etc. Possibility copy 600+ page document page by page is very annoying. Is any way to copy dokument without captions? Thx. Luděk |

If you need to change templates, why not simply attach the alternate template, via Developer|Document Template>Attach? If there are differences in Style definitions that need to be applied, simply check the 'Automatically update document Styles' while there, then save, close & re-open the document. Done.
