Word keeps changing the language to French
I am preparing a document that is in English with some paragraphs and words in French. The problem is that when I choose Tools -> Spelling and Grammar, Word is setting the language to French. I have tried Tools -> Set Language to English and I have unchecked automatic language selection, and I have also set the language to English in the Spell Checker options, but if I try to do the spell check, it sets the language back to French. I cannot get Word to keep the language set on English and not change it. I am trying to run the spell checking on selected blocks of text that are in English, but sometimes there will be one word or name in French. I am sick of this. I selected English on both menus and I want the setting to stay there.
