I don't know what I did, but now whenever I pull up Microsoft Word, a document is already displayed. If I click the create new document button, the same document comes up. It's not a document I need. I've tried repairing windows, but the problem still exists. What do I need to do to get rid of this? Thanks for all help.

You are welcome. The thanks really belong to the Suzanne Barnhill who wrote that page. I'm glad I was able to direct you to it. Over the years I've learned so much from forums like this that it is good to be able to give a little back.
