There are so many good graphics tools available out there, some of them free, that it is astonishing that you would want to attempt this in Word. Even the rudimentary Windows Paint would make more sense

Adding individual colour
Thank you Graham,
I use Word most of the time, and transferred my drawing to it. I didn't think of 'Paint' - I shall go and have a try with it now. Rudimentary seems to fit my efforts - Thank you! Colinito
