A change in page orientation requires the use of a 'Next Page' Section break to separate that page from the previous one. That may have necessitated unlinking the new Section's header & footer from the previous Section, so that the printed header & footer can be re-oriented. What this means for you is that you'll need to replicate your changes for both the landscape Section and the one that follows it.
