Default Word 2013 Cut and Paste Order

I just changed from Office 2010 to 2013, and one thing in Word has changed, and I wanted to see if I could change the settings to be like before. In 2010, I could select multiple lines, one at a time, and cut them, and when I pasted them, they would paste in the order I selected them. For example, if the lines were like this:

1
2

4
5
3

and I selected them in numerical order, then pasted them, it would look like this:

1
2
3
4
5

However, in 2013, the order I select the lines does not matter; they would be pasted in the order they are on the page, not the order selected. I do stuff where it is very convenient to paste in the order I selected, not the order shown on the page, so if I could change settings to match 2010, that would be extremely helpful. Thanks, and hopefully this makes sense. If not, I can try to explain further.
