Cursor Will Not Return to Left Margin

I started a docx. All of a sudden the cursor does not return to the beginning line on the left when I hit Enter. It lodges just inside the right margin.
How do I get it to go to beginning line at left with Enter all the time?
First 5 entries were fine...

On one of these paragraphs you have either changed the left indent or changed the justification. (Each time you press Enter you start a new paragraph.)

If you type does the text move to the left on the page? If so, you have right-justified it.
