LM Roman 12 font appears as bitmap when saving as/exporting to PDF
I have typed up my document in LM Roman 12 font on MS Office 2013, and when I save as/export to PDF, the font appears as bitmap, with the quality quite poor. Unticking the bitmap option when saving as pdf changes the font completely. I have also tried with selecting the Embed fonts in the Save options in word, which does not work. For some reason the fonts do not get embedded in the created PDF.
When I use a third-party software, such as CutePDF, the font LM Roman 12 does get embedded in the PDF but I loose all the hyperlinks (Table of contents, Figures, etc) which are quite important to retain. Could someone please suggest a solution? Thank you. |
