Let's try this:
Open the header and footer (Insert/Header/Edit header [bottom of drop down], or Alt+V,H), select all, delete. If there is an oversize color image creating the issue, that should do it. Did this help? |

EDIT: Do you have any idea WHY someone would have done it this way instead of applying a Page Background color? Seems so counter-intuitive. (I'm a WordPerfect guy so this type of stuff in Word drives me crazy. )
