Word 2013 opens doc in read only?
I get this problem the first time I run Word 2013 after rebooting or so it seems, problem doesn't occur all the time...
When I open a folder and doubleclick on a doc to open it for editing, it opens but opens in read only mode. I close then re-open and it opens for normal editing. And ideas?

Do you have the preview pane displayed in Windows Explorer and dialog boxes? Try turning it off.

Turned it off and the docs load just fine now. Thanks!
