You can have the page numbers in the header or footer. Add a section break after page 26, clear Same As Previous from the footer (or header) ribbon tab, and remove the page number field(s) from the new section.

Are the page numbers in either the header or footer? What I suggest will not work if the page numbers are in the body of the document.

Every section of a document has three headers and footers, you may not see all of them, though. I suspect that your document uses at least two different headers, the first-page header and the header. If so, you need, in your new section, to make sure that both of these are not linked to the headers in the previous section. Then delete the page numbers in the new section's headers.
