I am using Microsoft Word 2002. (I have Microsoft Office 2007 but prefer to work in Word 2002).
My problem has to do with excessive space (6-7 lines worth) after some footnote separator and the first footnote text and I don't know how to fix it. I've searched but can't find the answer for me. Problem seems to have started after I loaded a 200 page document that didn't have the problem and then 1. Reduced the top page margin 2. Changed the Normal font size for the document from fontsize 11 to 12. How do I fix this space problem? Thank you. |

In case someone else runs into a similar problem I think it might be a bug in Word 2002. I decided to do what I needed to do (fontsize change etc) on the same doc document in Word 2007 and the problem did not develop. Reloaded the changed doc in Word 2002 and all remained fine. FWIW. |
