As you are using MSO 2007, you'll find that there is LOTS that you can do to create layouts in Word - to start you off:

All of the following can be found on the Insert tab:
  • Look in the Text section and click on Quick Parts and select the Building Blocks Organiser
  • Then have a look in the Pages section for Cover Page
  • Finally, look in the Illustrations section and have a play around in there.

After playing around in there for a while, I'm sure you'll see some of what you can do and be able to go from there. However, for a bit more info, why not go search the individual parts that I've listed over on YouTube! They have some great instructional videos over there!
