Running Word 2002 in Windows 7. I used to be able to swtich back between open documents with alt+tab, or go to the task bar, highlight the windows icon, and toggle between any open documents. But now I can't do that. Can someone help as to how I can get this back.



When I use alt+tab it only shows the current document that I'm working on.

Can you tell us what version of Word you are now using? Your profile says you are still using Office XP.

The more recent versions of Word have an option for "Windows in Taskbar" which would give you back the functionality you are asking about.

I'm using word 2002. I'm pretty sure I can recall this feature in windows 7, but maybe I'm mistaken.

The feature/option is in Word not Windows. I can't remember exactly where the option checkbox is to configure this in Word 2002 but this article infers it may be Tools + Options + View.
