Default How to create a question and answer type layout with columns?

Hello,

I'm starting my revision process where I need to learn quite a lot of facts about things. To help me I divided an A4 piece of paper with a liner going down the middle. On one side I would write a question and on the other I would put down the answer.

Anyway, I need to replicate this somehow on a word document because it makes it much neater and easier to read. I've tried columns but anything I put into the first hand column affects the second hand column. So what I'm looking for is to have two separate columns, both individual to each other, so that adding spaces to the first column won't shift everything down in the second one.

I've provided an image of my A4 question and answer sheet that I use currently if it helps.
