I don't think Mendeley is going to do what I want.
Like other third-party reference managers, Mendeley seems to bypass Microsoft Word's own citation manager and insert references into the document by itself. But I work with a number of clients who insist on using Word's reference manager. They don't want to use any third-party tools. So I still need some way to convert references into Word's own proprietary XML format so it can import them. |
