Thanks Paul,
What i was trying to do was " Chapter 1 The title of the Chapter" So instead of hiding or not using the heading numbers, basically i added the text "Chapter" in front of the heading numbers in the multilevel list and used shift+enter to take the title underneath. It also allowed me to use the captions as well. Thanks for the help.
