How can I let my users copy and paste into a protected Word Document?

Wait.....I still have an issue. I'm having trouble getting the form to do both (allow me to protect one section and not the other). Now it is letting me copy and paste but, my text boxes and check boxes no longer work. I inserted a few different sections but, I don't see the option to let me only protect certain sections. What am I doing wrong?
