I scanned a Word document creating a PDF file and then converted it to a DOCX file within Word 2013. Resulting file can't be edited and has no Word count in the Properties section.
The cursor in the DOCX file is more or less a cross instead of a vertical cursor. Any ideas where I went wrong in the conversion process? Thanks to all! |

No OCR. What you have is a picture of a document in pdf format. This is a function of your scanning software. OneNote has OCR facility.
