I am new to Word 2013 and fooled around with some of the style settings. I now appreciate how important they are, especially normal and heading 1, heading 2, etc.
Is there a way to reset styles to their default now that I am knowing more how to use them? I'd like a fresh start. |

Rename the normal template and Word will start with a new one with the default settings.
If you have not changed the default location enter or copy %appdata%\Microsoft\Templates to the address window of Windows Explorer and you will be taken to the folder that contains the default template - which for Word 2013 is normal.dotm. Note that this folder is normally hidden.
