Default Is there an equivalent of Word 2003's autotext in Word 2013?

In Word 2003 I used to use autotext a lot, to make corrections for which autocorrect was not suitable (e.g. form for from) and using abbreviations for commonly typed or complex longer words or phrases. In that system I could type "form" and then hit the F3 key, and it would convert to "from". Or I could define a proper name, or a phrase that I had to use a lot in a document, for example "proprietary estoppel", giving it the abbreviation "pest", and if I then typed pest and pressed the F3 key, the full phrase came up.
I can see that there is an autotext function in Word 2013 but it is much more limited than this, and less useful. Is there any equivalent in Word 2013 to what I used to use autotext for, please?
