Calculating values from Drop Down Selections

Hey there macropod!
I'm still looking for a way to calculate an overall score from dropdown (or use form fields). You sent me here referencing a document. All I find is a document that's somebody else's evaluation form. That doesn't help. Is there a document on how to create form fields? I really want to be done with this. Thanks in advance for providing a short, sweet, and straightforward answer and not sending me somewhere else.

The whole point being, of course, to provide you with a practical demonstration of what can be done.

Creating formfields is a trivial undertaking. Simply go to Developer|Controls>Legacy Tools>Legacy Forms and choose the type of formfield (text, checkbox, or dropdown) you want to insert. Using them requires applying Word's 'filling in forms' protection. And, as previously advised in this thread:
