Hi, my Spelling & Grammar option has disappeared from the Tools menu in WORD (Version Word for Mac 2011 - 14.3.2). I just lost it suddenly. The keyboard shortcut for spellcheck has also stopped working.



I've tried resetting toolbars (View, Toolbars, Customize, Reset) but that didn't help.

You can imagine the frustration to proof read. Can anyone help please? I'd really appreciate it.

I have never used MacWord so I can't give any specific advice, but (assuming that menu customization is allowed) can you manually put the Tools menu back (as you could do in WinWord 2003 and earlier)?

Thanks for your reply. I did try that but it didn't work (assuming I did that correctly as advised by another forum). Just to clarify, the other options are still there displayed under the Tools menu, but Spelling & Grammar option has disappeared. Another forum also advised me to reset the Menus as described in my previous post, and I assume that would reset the the Tools menu too, but it hasn't. What else can I try please?

Which was that other forum? It's always a good idea to explain that you have posted the same question in multiple forums.
