So I was visiting my mom who always has me fix things on her computer, and she pointed out a strange problem I cannot for the life of me figure out how to fix.
She has an old computer and microsoft office 2003, she uses outlook to manage her emails and word. EVERY time you go to compose a new email, hit reply or open a blank word document, the new document/email composer has an embedded web address at the top of the document. So blank word document or email composer window looks like this right when opened: vvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvv --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- http.www.happybirthdayimages.com/*jgk&fdh*2jdkfgh/83756@*$& --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This header which is an image she tried to copy paste off google images into a happy birthday email appears by default on EVERY SINGLE new document throughout all of microsoft office. How on earth can I remove this? |

It appears someone has added the errant content to Word's 'Normal' template. To fix it, you will need to open the template and delete that content. For instructions on how to do that, see:
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/wo...005189267.aspx PS: A reply might have been posted sooner had you posted in the correct forum. You posted your query in the Office forum, which has a notice at the top telling you NOT to post Word questions there.

Thank you for the help. Yes I did see that message, but this issue is not only for word. The issue is also present for templates in other parts of the Office package as well. |

Its also showing up in Outlook when she replies to or attempts to compose a new email. Basically any time you hit "New" the template that should be blank comes with that line at the top automatically.
Its as simple to fix as just deleting it, which is no huge issue, I just found it really odd and it annoyed me that I couldn't figure out how to make it stop happening in the first place. |

It would probably only be showing up in Outlook because she is using Word as her email editor. In other words it's still a Word issue.
