I created a Word form but want to hide the text on the right of the label name (where you click and fillout data) if it's Printed only. Otherwise I want the users to be able to
click on the fields and see them on the screen. But if the user wants to Print the form and just fill out the empty fields by hand on hardcopy. I don't know if this is possible, I'm not that good at MS Word. Can anyone help or give me direction on this? Thank you! Last edited by Charles Kenyon; 11-24-2014 at 02:22 PM. To do what you want would require a macro to delete the content controls or insert spaces into them, which means using the docm format. Furthermore, if you do that, then print the document, all the user will see on the printout is what you'd see if you were to do that manually and set Word's option to not display the table gridlines (i.e. there'd be no line guides for filling in any of the data). And, of course, there'd be no 'Market' list to choose from...

I decided to do 2 different Word Templates for this instead. One for the Users to enter Word online and the other is Word with empty fields and the Users can just print it out and hand write it.
Thank you. CC |
