The 'code' I posted is not part of a macro. You cannot achieve exactly what you have attempted with a macro. You could use it to write to the cell directly, though that would need the form to be unlocked. In fact there is no need for a macro to do this. You can use a conditional field (or fields) and that is what I have posted. I have inserted it into your form so you can see how it works. Select a meal and tab out of the field. (I think I have the meals right but please check).
It also entailed setting the default tabs at a new value, which affects the whole form. You may need to check your tabs and apply paragraph format tabs as required.
