Sorry, you can't do this, unless you want to add numbers manually (which will be difficult to maintain).

A lot of work for readers as well as writers … somewhere on the MVP site for Word, there's a reference to an Australian refinery disaster where expecting readers to take pages out of binders, add pages in the right place in binders and so on was identified as a significant contributory factor.
Perhaps you could prepare the new pages as a separate document and publish them as an addendum? then deftly incorporate them in the main document for the next big release. |
