Can it be a complete column of parentheses?


If so, in your template insert a narrow column between the two current ones. Fill it with parentheses.

I would seriously consider talking to the court administrator about changing this rule which was created when pleadings were done on typewriters. A border would serve the same purpose.

Out of curiousity, which jurisdiction is this?
