I am working on a legal pleading template. The caption information is contained in a two column table. The Joe Plaintiff vs. John Defendant text is in the left column of the table, case number etc is in the right column.
In some places it is acceptable to just have a vertical border between the columns and be done. In this county, the expected format is a right paren ")" at the end of each line in the left column. John Doe, ) Plaintiff ) vs. ) <-- the parens have to right justify to the column width etc. ) We would like to automatically insert the right paren when the typist hits the enter key. Of course we only need this in the table, not in the document body. Any thoughts on how to approach this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks -dL |
