If this affects all documents, it could reflect a fault in your Office installation or the printer driver. If it affects only a few documents, it could be document corruption.
Have you tried repairing the Office installation (via Programs & Features > Microsoft Office > Change in the Windows Control Panel)? Corrupt documents can often be 'repaired' by inserting a new, empty, paragraph at the very end, copying everything except that new paragraph to a new document based on the same template (headers & footers may need to be copied separately), closing the old document and saving the new one over it.

Thanks Macropod,
It is definitely not document specific, problem also arises in any new Word document raised. Also doing the blank 'ghost' paragraph does not clear the issue. I have run the Office installaion 'change' programme, which plodded through re-Configuaration but after re-starting my computer the problem persists. Maybe I'm heading to remove and re-install Microsoft Office ? Only issue there is I don't have the disks but I guess I could get them. Thanks, Wombat |
