How to delete/remove text box (borders)

Refer back to Paul's response. Instead of Text Box Tools, click on "Drawing Tools". Follow remaining steps that Paul inicated.

Still cannot do it. Word 2007 has no Drawing Tool. See screenshot.

Your screenshot has nothing to do with Word 2007 - it's not even a screenshot of a Microsoft product.
