How to delete/remove text box (borders)

Sorry, did not work.

Can access text box only by clicking on insert. However, that does not have option for editing "no outline".

Page Layout shows "Borders" but, again, electing "none" does not remove the
border.

In "Outline" view a blank page comes up. Closing outline brings up the text.
