Need a document to help take notes
Hi guys,
I'm a bit stuck, I have been asked to create a document at work that will help everybody to take notes at our monthly meetings. The layout has been designed in Indesign already and the jpg is being used as a background in Word with text boxes over the top. My question is... Is there a way of locking text boxes in position? I need them to still be editable for content, but cant trust people not to move/delete them from the original. It is being constructed in Word 2008 (mac) and opened in Word 2010 (PC). Any help/input on this problem would be great. Thanks, P |

It's difficult to make specific suggestions without knowing exactly how the layout is supposed to look. Generally speaking, though, text boxes may not be the best option for placing text in Word. It's better to keep things as simple as possible.
If you posted a screen shot of the desired end result, that would help...
