Hi,
I have a two documents. In one of the docs, I have automatically generated bookmarks for all the headings. In the other document, I have added hyperlinks to such bookmarks, which when clicked, shows me the corresponding heading in the other document. So far so good. However, the annoying thing is that, even though both documents are open at the same time, and at different positions on my dual screen, the second doc window is always moved back on top of the first doc window when I click on such hyperlinks. I was hoping that I could keep both doc windows side by side, such that I can always look at both docs at the same time. Is it possible to prevent MS word to move the 2nd doc when clicking on a hyperlink in the first doc? I work with MS Word 2010, on Windows 7 64-bit Thanks for any ideas on this! Paul ![]() |

Please don't post the same question in multiple places. Once is enough. As your other post on this topic was in the VBA forum, but the issue has nothing to do with VBA, I've deleted that one.
