hello! when you insert a footnote in the text, and place the cursor on the part of the text where a footnote has been inserted, the text in the footnote is shown in a special box next to the cursor. is there a way (in word 2007) to get a box like that without having to insert a footnote on the bottom of the page? thanks |

You could do much the same thing with a hyperlink, using it's 'Screen Tip' for the text you want to display.
