Hello everyone,
I am a new user of this forum. I use Office 2013 on Windows 8, but my current question is one I was asked by a friend who uses Office for Mac, I only guess that it's the latest version. What he wants to do, and I do not know how, is to set a different position to the page numbers in the following way. On each first page of each chapter in his document, he wants the number to be at the head of the page, while on the other pages of the chapter, at the bottom. How do you do that ? The tip his tutor gave him was to put a text box to cover the number where he doesn't want it, and to add a text box with the number where he does. I believe there must be a more elegant way to do this. Thank you ! |
