Day before my exam. Writing/re-writing notes in Word.
I want to copy paste something and then all of a sudden these weird symbols pop up in my document and then spread to all of my word documents. They look like this: http://postimg.org/image/lamjvjeup/ What do I do to remove them? Any help would be greatly appreciated - thanks in advance Regards, The-near-panicking student |

If you mean the dots between words and the ¶ at the end of the paragraph, these are entirely harmless – you have activated the display of non-printing characters. I don't know how to do this in 2007; try Ctrl + 8?

The formatting display can be toggled on/off by clicking on the ¶ symbol on the Ribbon's Home tab.

Another alternative is Ctrl+* (Ctrl+Shift+8).
