Hi !
I want to use a full page to insert a figure or a table. For instance, I want to have text on page 4, a figure or a table on page 5, and the text to continue on page 6 as if page 5 didn't exist. Right now, if I take a full page for a figure or a table, I have to cut in the middle of a paragraph, and if I add text on page 4, the figure is moved down and or partially cut. Thank you ! OL |

Although you could add a table, textbox, picture or autoshape to a page as a 'floating' object (i.e. with text wrapping), that object has to be anchored to something. To a limited extent, you can have the object's position set relative to the page margins/edges, but editing text before the anchor is liable to result in the object moving - perhaps to another page. You can't simply drop an object onto a page and have it stay there regardless of what else is going on around it.

Hi,
first, thank you for your answer, I understand the object must be anchored to something. Simply stated, I want the object to be alone on a page, without text, and with no blank space on the previous page, so that even if I add text, the object moves to another page, but stays alone on the new page, and no blank space has appeared on the previous page. Thank you ! |

Word doesn't allow you to have a wrapped object with less than one line of text on the same page.
