Weird "new/blank document" format in Word 2007

Hi,

After using MS Word 2007 for years (yeah, maybe too many ;-), and having it create a new/blank document the same way each time, today, it started doing something weird.

The weird parts are the little L brackets on the top corners of the document (discreetly indicated in the attached screenshot).

Either Word woke up today trying to discover itself, or I bumped something and can't figure out what.

If you know, please tell me. I really want to un-bump it.

I cant tell you the how but I can help with the what.
Those marks are called crop marks.

To turn them off click the round Office Button at the top left. Choose Word Options > Advanced. Scroll down to the section called "Show Document Content". Remove the check in the "Show Crop Marks" and click OK.

Should be gone!
