Can't find "References" on Word 2013
I see cross-reference, but no place that says "references" so that I can put in a caption on a photograph that will go into a 300-page book full of pictures. None of the help pages have helped. Can someone educate me. I know this must be simple... Thanks. Lyn |

Are you saying that you don't see the References tab? In that case, click File tab | Options | Customize Ribbon. Make sure that there is a check mark next to "References" in the list of Main Tabs. Click OK.
Now you should be able to click the References tab and then click the Insert Caption command.
