Hi there!
![]() I've noticed that the option "Keep with next" paragraph does not work as I'd expect it to work when the paragraph that has this option checked encounters a footnote. Then it thinks, 'well I'm not the last guy on the page, there's a footnote below me so I'll sit here.' And so the heading gets separated from the normal text, which starts on the next page. It looks like that: • HEADING (keep with next) -------- ¹ Footnote. Page number and next page starts here: Text text text text. Now I'm not a newbie to Word, I've been using it for years, I know better than to insert two ^p one after another etc. Also, my Normal text style doesn't have "Keep lines together" or "Keep with next" checked, as I know this would make it impossible for Word to keep everything together. So do you have any idea of what I might be doing wrong or is it just how it's supposed to be? But gosh, it looks awful ![]() Thanks in advance, vpprof |
