I have to generate count sheets for inventory purposes in word document. The only way I can get the data to come out on the page correctly is to have it outputted on an 8.5 X 14 sheet size. The issue is I have to send this out elecdtronically to vendor locations across the country and it needs to be then printed on 8.5 X 11 paper to facilitate scannng and copying. I can certainly do that at my desk on my computer but is there a way to make this always print out on 8.5 X 11 paper? I have sent instructions on how to do this based on my printer settings but everyone has different printers. Is there a way to save this in the 8.5X11 size without losing the formatting from the 8.5 X 14 size?

You could (and probably should) send the file out in PDF format. Acrobat etc. can automatically scale a PDF to fit whatever paper size it's printed on, retaining a precisely scaled version of the original.
