I'm using Word 2010 on Windows 7. My draft mode view has suddenly shrunk to the size of a postage stamp. This happens on both existing files and new ones. It was working Ok yesterday.
Is there a cure short of deleted Normal.dot? Thanks, Jack |

Try clicking the zoom button and setting it to 100%.

That's not it. I go back and forth from print view to draft view all the time, and the zoom level of the text doesn't change (and shouldn't). This behavior is new, as in <24 hrs new.

It's happened to me twice over the last several years. 1 time I just hit zoom and set to 100%, the other time I had to do ctrl+a and then set the zoom to 100%. I couldn't just click on the 100% icon, I had to go into the Zoom and at the bottom where it says percent, somehow it was showing 10 -- I changed it to 100.
If neither works then I have no idea... |

Wow. At least, if you had a similar experience, I'm not just dreaming the whole thing.
Your fix sounds very plausible. Unfortunately, it didn't help in my case. In fact, now I see that the zoom doesn't change the draft mode image at all (it used to). I do appreciate your help and advice, though. Thanks |
