I fixed the link.
http://www.addbalance.com/usersguide...n.htm#Vertical The key was that within one section the starting distance of the body text from the header was changing. This vertical alignment is almost a secret control in Word. It is amazing that people find it at all; and when they do, it is almost always a problem! (Or maybe we only hear about it when it becomes a problem.)
