The first thing I'd suggest is displaying hidden characters, by clicking on the paragraph symbol in the Home tab, top right in the Paragraph group. This allows you to see section breaks. I suspect that there is one after your second page. If so, you can delete the page numbers from pages 1 and 2 without affecting the subsequent pages.

If wish to have page numbers in the rest of the document, starting in the footer on the third page, insert a page number field (Insert tab, page number) and set its properties to begin at 1. If there are more section breaks in the document further along, you may have to insert page numbers in each section as well.
