![]() I am preparing a set of financial statements (lucky me). I have created a word document with the notes to the financial statements as headings in a list. Each heading has a number and a title. e.g. 13. Goodwill. The list seems to be working very well, except for one problem: when a note runs over more than 1 page, we repeat the number and title e.g. 13. Goodwill (continued). The problem I have is that the automatic numbering is assigning a new number to the continuation and this is messing up the entire document. How do I sort this out so it doesn't happen and each continuation is assigned the number of its 'parent' note? |
