That is not what your original post indicated. However, assuming your "just not in reference to them" comment, I have to assume you are referring to the TOC. If that is the case, what you are asking for is not possible. When you set up your style the colon is either going to be part of the style...or, it is not. And, once you set your style, you cannot edit the heading line to include a colon elsewhere within that style.
