My microsoft office 2013 is having a problem. When I download some .doc/docx file from internet/email it does not open. The starting small window appears, but it just stays at "opening in protected view" and doesnt ever open the file. I have tried reinstalling the office. I reinstalled chrome browser. But the problem still persists. If i download the same file on another pc, and then transfer it to my pc using a USB flash, it opens on my pc then. Help me solve this issue.

EDIT: I'm using windows 8 (64bit)

Found The Solution.

Follow the steps mentioned below and check if it helps:
· Open Word document.
· Click on File< Options< Trust Center< Trust Center Settings< Protected View
· Under Protected View group uncheck all the three options.
· Click Ok twice. Close and open any Word document and check if it works fine.
