I produce documents of lyrics, where many lines of text start in small case. I have turned off the auto-correct for capitals but, when I review and spell check a document, I get a query about a lack of a capital at the beginning of all the lines that start in small case and, often a query suggesting I should have a question mark at the end of the line. Is there a way, please, of stopping these queries so that my spell check becomes a much faster and less troublesome experience?

In 2010, I'd start with Review > Spelling and grammar > Proofing.

Thanks for that. I certainly hadn't thought of the grammatical directions to Word. I will give all your suggestions a try.
